Festival Media Update

The Morning Call has been quite generous in its coverage of the 105th Bethlehem Bach Festival, and of The Choir, in general.  Steve Siegel has penned two reviews:  one of the Friday afternoon and evening concerts, and of Eliot Fisk’s appearance with the Bach Festival Orchestra.  Phil Metzger reviewed Charlotte Mattax-Moersch’s recital and the Mass in B-Minor.  Steve Siegel also has an excellent interview with The Choir’s Archivist, Dr. Paul Larson, on the occasion of the release of his new social history of The Choir.  Choir and Orchestra members are currently having a brief break, during the week, and the Festival will resume for its second weekend with Nicholas Kenyon’s Distinguished Scholar Lecture on Friday, at 2:00 pm, at the Zoellner Arts Center.  Tickets are available for all of the Festival events, and you may purchase them at the door.
