We’ve received a great deal of press in advance of Saturday’s concert in Harrisburg, and Sunday’s concert, here in Bethlehem. Greg Funfgeld was interviewed for a broadcast on WVIA yesterday. I gave an interview on WDIY this morning and we listened to Bach, Britten and all of the Chichester Psalms (thanks to Waldemar Vinovskis for the opportunity to discuss the concert) and Greg will be featured in an extended interview on WWFM tomorrow afternoon at 3 pm. WWFM will also be broadcasting the Spring Concert on Easter Monday at 8 pm (I’ll provide a reminder and a link as we draw closer to Easter in mid-April). We’ve been featured in the Morning Call and Express Times, as well as the Harrisburg Patriot-News, and the Market Square Concerts’ Blog.
I’ll be posting regular updates during the weekend, so stay tuned. If you’ve not gotten your tickets yet, they will be available at the door on Sunday – please join us!
Update: Friday Evening, 3/18 – We had an excellent first dress rehearsal for the concert. The music is coming together extremely well – our soloists and instrumentalists deserve all kinds of praise. In particular, Tom Goeman’s accompanying, on both organ and piano, is extraordinarily sensitive, creative, and abounds in musicality. I’ll post more after our second rehearsal and journey to Harrisburg tomorrow.
