Thanks to everyone who attended this afternoon’s concert – we had a full crowd and we were very gratified to perform today’s program for such an enthusiastic audience. What began as a somewhat dreary autumn morning evolved into a glorious fall afternoon. Special kudos to Greg Funfgeld and Robin Kani for a spectacular performance of the B-Minor flute sonata. There are more great things to come: the Bach, Brass, and Beyond concert on Sunday, October 24th; the November Bach at Noon, which will include Bach’s famous “Sleepers Wake” cantata, on November 9th; the appearance of Tiempo Libre at our Gala concert on November 13th, and, finally, our Christmas Concerts, on December 11th and 12th.
