The world-famous Thomanerchor (Saint Thomas Boys Choir), Bach's own choir from Leipzig, Germany will make one of their U.S. appearances this year in Bethlehem!

Presented by Dr. Hilde Binford, Associate Professor of Music, Moravian College, Bethlehem The Reformation ushered in a new culture of singing hymns, both in and out of the church. Anabaptists and Calvinists chose to sing only monophonic hymns and psalms, while others, including the Lutherans and the Moravians, encouraged polyphonic music.
