FREE CONCERT! (moved indoors on May 18)
The Festival opens with a program offered by principal violist Paul Miller, along with Festival artist-in-residence She-e Wu, and cellist and Bach in the Subways founder Dale Henderson. They’ll perform some of Bach’s most beloved pieces on cello and also arranged for violin and marimba.
Dale Henderson, cello: First Cello Suite in G Major, BWV 1007
She-e Wu, marimba: Second Cello Suite in D Minor, BWV 1008
Paul Miller, electric violin: Third Violin Partita in E Major, BWV 1006, transcribed for electric violin

⇒ Inclement weather location: The Old Chapel, 412 Heckewelder Place, next to the Moravian Museum on Church Street. Directly across from the Central Moravian Church on Heckewelder Place.
