Bach at Noon (in Allentown)
July 10, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Event Navigation
The fourth summer of Bach’s music in Allentown continues in July, with the second of three BACH AT NOON performances by The Bach Choir of Bethlehem at St. John’s Lutheran Church in downtown Allentown. In collaboration with the Arts at St. John’s series, the Bach at Noon program is presented on the second Tuesday of the month in June, July and August, always free and open to the public.
Doors open at 11:30 am and concerts begin at 12:10 pm. Each performance will feature soloists, along with members of The Bach Choir and Bach Festival Orchestra, with an informative and lively introduction to each piece from conductor and artistic director, Greg Funfgeld. Good will offerings gratefully received!
The July Bach at Noon is named in honor and loving memory of Alice Anne Miller. The concert is made possible in part by a generous legacy gift from The Century Fund and from Alice’s sister, Joan Miller Moran.
Come and enjoy this gift of spiritual and musical refreshment from the Bach Choir of Bethlehem!
