Dan Tepfer

Inventions/Reinventions

Saturday, October 4 • 5pm

Join us for an unforgettable evening of artistry and celebration at Bethlehem’s Musikfest Cafe, where pianist Dan Tepfer will perform his acclaimed Inventions/Reinventions. Interweaving Bach’s Two-Part Inventions with his own improvisations in the “missing” keys, Tepfer offers a brilliant 24-key journey through tradition and innovation – honoring Bach’s legacy while delivering a bold, contemporary voice.

This special fundraiser evening includes a beautifully curated dinner and an intimate concert experience, supporting the Bach Choir’s mission to inspire through music that transcends time and inspires new generations. Proceeds benefit the Bach Choir’s Youth Education and Community Engagement programs.

Tickets are $225 (with a $5 handling charge) and include a $75 charitable contribution.

The chief goal here is to be in conversation with Bach and to stay in my shoes – not to be playing on his turf, but to be using his ideas on my turf, which I think is what any good conversation is.”

-Dan Tepfer, NPR interview
