Bel Canto Spring Concert
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of uniting children in song, the choirs of the Bel Canto Youth Chorus present their spring concert, “This I Believe and the Stories We Tell.” Drawing from a wide variety of composers and genres from Bach and Billings to Britten and Dilworth, the program spans genres and styles. Join us on Friday at noon as we enjoy the blue sky and beauty of a Spring afternoon in Bethlehem, and open our Festival weekends with a very special performance by principal violist, Paul Miller and friends as they perform using electric violin along with other modern instruments to offer some classic pieces. Paul is joined this year by the Festival Brass Choir.

Lute, Flute and Recorders Grammy-nominated lutenist Ronn McFarlane is a founding member of early music ensemble The Baltimore Consort, and plays Baroque, Renaissance and traditional Celtic music from the 18th century. The Saal performances will include the music of J.S. Bach, Allessandro Piccinini, John Dowland, William Byrd and S.L. Weiss. NOTE: Mindy Rosenfeld will join this performance on Friday, May 17 only. The Saal is on the second floor of the Moravian Museum and is not handicapped accessible.
