SUMMARY:Mass in B Minor (On-Demand Virtual concert)
DESCRIPTION:Our treasured tradition\, attended and warmly received by thousands of people from around the country and around the world since the American premiere of Bach’s monumental Mass at the very first Bethlehem Bach Festival in 1900. \n We LIVE-STREAMED this performance from our Festival; please enjoy the concert on-demand from wherever you are and be part of Greg Funfgeld’s final Festival concert as our Artistic Director and Conductor.\nTicket buyers have access to view the live-stream up to FIVE TIMES before June 21. Please see the FAQ’s below about viewing the concert or click HERE.  \nClick on the image or link below to access the Mass in B Minor from our Festival program. \n \nFestival_MASS PDF\nLIVE-STREAM tickets are available by phone\, mail\, or online.\nThis special live broadcast of The Bach Choir’s 2022 performance of Bach’s Mass in B Minor is underwritten through a gift from Guarantor Peter Goldberger\, of Ardmore\, PA\, and his sister\, Tonia G. Widler\, of Redwood Valley\, CA\, in memory of their parents\, Golden Guarantors Edward M. Goldberger & Rhoda S. Goldberger. \nThe story and music of The Bach Choir were shared abroad for the first time as a result of Eddie Goldberger’s script on The Bach Choir and his work as a producer for Voice of America international radio in the 1940s and ’50s. \nPLEASE NOTE!  We are thrilled to present this concert online\, and share this music beyond the sanctuary of Packer Memorial Church to thousands of viewers.  While technology makes this somewhat magical\, convenient and accessible for many around the world\, a live-stream production – like all our virtual concerts – is an expense for the Choir. \nAdditional contributions of any amount will help us offset the costs of this concert\, including the streaming service fees and video production costs\, as well as other live-streams to come. We hope we can count on your support as we continue to produce our music virtually for your enjoyment.  Thank you! \nYou may add a donation when you purchase your ticket.   \nIf you would like to support our growing technology initiatives with a gift this year\, click the button below and then choose a donation level – Friend\, Supporter\, Ambassador\, or Sustainer –  or make a free will donation in any amount – and complete your transaction. \nTechnology contribution \nSoloists at the 2022 Festival: \nSherezade Panthaki\, soprano · Rosa Lamoreaux\, soprano · Daniel Taylor\, counter-tenor (Saint Matthew Passion) · Meg Bragle\, alto (Mass in B Minor) · Benjamin Butterfield\, tenor (Saint Matthew Passion) · Isaiah Bell\, tenor (Saint Matthew Passion) · William Sharp\, baritone (Saint Matthew Passion) · Dashon Burton\, bass-baritone (Saint Matthew Passion) \nPlease note: All members of our in-person audiences are required to wear a face mask indoors while attending a Bach Choir concert. Thank you for your cooperation. \nThroughout the season\, we will continue to monitor the news surrounding COVID-19. The safety of our audience\, artists\, volunteers and staff is our priority. We follow regulations issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the CDC and will review and modify our protocol and activities as needed. All updates will be communicated as promptly as possible. Please check our website for any updates throughout the 2021-2022 season. \nShare This:
