DESCRIPTION:Part 1 • 1:00pm\nPart 2 • 2:30pm\nPlease note:  The May 20 performance of Mass in B Minor begins at 1pm to accommodate additional Lehigh University events in Packer Memorial Church.  We anticipate the concert will end at approximately 3:30pm.\nTickets ordered after May 12\, 2023 will be held at WILL CALL for pick up prior to the concert. \nONLINE ticketing closes at 9:30am on May 20.  Tickets will be available at Packer Memorial Church starting at 12:00 noon on May 20.  \nDr. Christopher Jackson conducts The Choir\, Bach Festival Orchestra and soloists at our 115th Bethlehem Bach Festival – his first as our Artistic Director and Conductor.  The Mass is our treasured tradition\, attended and warmly received by thousands of people from around the country and around the world since the American premiere of Bach’s monumental Mass at the very first Bethlehem Bach Festival in 1900.  You may want to plan a picnic on the lovely grounds of the church between Parts 1 & 2…another treasured tradition! \nChorale Sing\, Part 2: Arrive early to sing Bach chorales for 20 minutes with Christopher Jackson  and members of The Choir. Gather close to Packer Church – or indoors in inclement weather – and you will be accompanied by the Festival Brass Choir.  Music will be posted in May\, 2023. \nShare This:
