DESCRIPTION:Presenting our eighth annual salon at Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard on July 20\, 2019.  Located in the Fingerlakes region of New York\, the Wiemer Vineyard hosts this evening of music and refreshments as a benefit event for the Choir’s educational and community outreach programs. \nThe Winery’s 100-year-old scissor-trussed barn overlooking one of the vineyards provides a unique and convivial setting for the evening’s festivities. This collaboration offers guests a flavorful palate of music and wine.  A variety of wine along with hors d’oeuvres will be served before the concert begins and during the Intermezzo. \nThe program – titled Americana – will feature frequent Bach Choir soloist and audience favorite Rosa Lamoreaux\, soprano\, as well as members of the choir\, performing classic American compositions by Copeland\, Rogers & Hammerstein\, and Stephen Foster as well as songs by Brahms and Bach (and more!).  Ms. Lamoreaux has been acclaimed for her “scrupulous musicianship…gorgeous sound and stylistic acuity\,” (Washington Post)\, and is known for her incandescent presence. \nSpace is limited and tickets are required.
