Please visit The Choir’s redesigned website for information about the upcoming 2013-2014 Season, which we’ve titled “The Music of Heaven on Earth.”  This year, we’ll encounter much transcendent music, with a survey of a stunning variety of composers, genres, and major works.  From the fugues of the Fisk Family (international guitar superstar Eliot Fisk, as well as his wife and daughter, each fabulous performers), to the ebullient joy of Mozart combined with Bach at this years Bach at Noon series (when he heard Bach’s motet, Singet dem herrn, Mozart is said to have exclaimed, “Now there’s something we can learn from!”)  From the fusion of Genesis and Milton’s Paradise Lost in Haydn’s epic Creation, to a witty new children’s opera (equally appropriate for children of all ages) by Chuck Holderman, bassonist of the Bach Festival Orchestra, with a libretto by Choir member Bill Bly; Christmas Concerts of treasured music (including selections on our upcoming recording for Analekta, A Child’s Christmas in Bethlehem), to a wonderful survey of some of Bach’s most intimate and powerful Cantatas at the Festival (as well as a return to the Saal of the Moravian Museum by two amazing lutenists – Ronn McFarlane and William Sims) – our 2013-2014 season is brimming over with amazing music, performed with joy and conviction by a group of performers called “…an American musical treasure…” by the Wall Street Journal.

Have a look around the new site, and visit the Blog often this summer for news and information about the upcoming season.
